“Be the change you want to see.”
Politics is having a hard time at the moment and there feels like a very long list of complaints and failures. I have been a member of the Green Party for a number of years as I believe things can be done differently. If we prioritise correctly, communicate respectfully and act collectively we can make our communities better places.
I will be focused on the issues which local people know to be ones which make the difference to how successfully we live together. More importantly, I will work to highlight the connection between different parts of local government. Housing, homelessness, social care, mental health services, education, public spaces and transport can never reach the standards we dream of if they are not seen as part of an integrated, long term commitment. A series of policies which need commitment and investment.
“Bad things happen when good people do nothing.”
Vote Green on May 2nd and help good things happen.
